Driver of the Week 2011

9-10 Chris Payne is the current points leader in the Riverside stock class. He drives the wheels off of his #17 stock car every week. Even though Chris has only been racing a couple of years, he drives with patience and good judgment. He has a great following of fans called the "Payne Possee". Chris’s father, Don Payne, is a former Riverside race car driver so Chris gets his talents naturally.

9-3 Christy Kirkman has dirt track racing blood in her veins and the love of racing in her heart. Her father, Danny Moore, raced stocks and late models for many years and Christy and her husband, Richie, both drive late models. Christy was the first female to win a race at Riverside. Christy has accomplished many things during her racing career including her late model win on Sat., 8/27. Christy and Richie have a little boy so you will probably be seeing another Kirkman on the race track in the future.

8-27-11 Eddie Gallagher is known all over the midsouth as "One fast Eddie Gallagher"  He drives the 1X 305 Winged Sprint owned by Buzz Herrington & Eddie owns and drives his number #1 360 winged sprint car.  Eddie is definitely a driving machine who can make his car go round and round in good circles!!
