Parts Plus
RIS sends its condolences and prayers to the family of
Shirley Gray of Bartlett, Tennessee, the wife of former
racing great, Elmer Gray and mother of Terry Gray, Amy
Swindell and Cathy Gillentine. Shirley passed away at
around 12:00 am on Sunday, June 27th.
She was a
fixture at Mid South area racing activities for more than
half a century, while supporting her family in their careers
and racing endeavors. She leaves several grand children and
one great grandchild behind and she will be missed by many
others as well. Please keep the Gray family in your
thoughts and prayers as they deal with their loss.

Sherry and
Clayton Allen, owners of RIS, live in Munford,
Tennessee. Their home, their cars, and their
businesses in Munford received close to 9 feet of water and
are a total loss. The water was so deep Sherry and
Clayton had to be rescued by boat and moved to higher
ground. Please keep them in your prayers as they
have to deal with all of these problems. |

o’clock Saturday morning the race track was good but the pit
area is holding water. At one o’clock the RIS staff will
begin working the pit area to see if it can be prepared for
racing tonight. A final decision will be made at 3 o’clock

Camille, passed away unexpectedly while she was out of town
on a business trip. Mike was the photographer at Memphis
Motorsports Park. His wife's visitation is Sunday from
1-4 at Memphis Funeral Home on Poplar. Please keep
Mike in your prayers. |

computer so that driver registration will go smoothly and
quickly. Remember you will not be able to pull a pill
until your driver information is correct and current.

James Dacus. Words seem inadequate to express the
sadness the racing community feels on the loss. Although no
words can really help to ease the loss the Dacus family

other circumstances that require the cancellation. We

Championship Awards Banquet (tentatively planned for

2010 are:

Riverside International Speedway Race Program
For
the 2010 season RIS will present a uniform and consistent weekly
race program with 6 classes of cars featuring the 360 winged
sprints, 305 non winged sprints, stocks, and 600s every week. The
limited late models and the modifieds will alternate weekly.
